I've been busy, busy, busy the last month. First I was in California and Oregon visiting family. Then I had family visiting me for the last couple of weeks. I didn't schedule any clients during this time which gave me a nice break. I had taken so many photos during May and June that I was feeling the need to slow down. I'm fully recharged now and ready to jump into the upcoming busy season!

We're home! It's always refreshing to come back to cool weather after being in 90 degrees plus for a lot of our trip.
Our first stop was to visit my aunt and cousins in Eugene, Oregon. To the kids delight, my cousin gave us a grand tour of his fire station. I don't think any other part of our trip was as exciting to the kids as this.
A few days later, we met my family at beautiful Asilomar Beach in Pacific Grove, CA. The weather was cool but the kids sure enjoyed themselves.

Happy Fourth
I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend! The Fourth of July is a favorite holiday at my house.
My blog will be quiet for the next two weeks or so as the kids and I make our annual trek to San Jose to visit my family. It's an 800 mile road trip the kids and I take each summer full of hot weather, catching up with dear friends and family, and of course lots of picture taking.
I am currently booking sessions for August, so send me an email if you want to get on the calendar. I only have a couple August weekends sessions left.
